Accelerated adoption rates for Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and a host of other collaboration services have seemingly transformed video into an overnight enterprise sensation. In reality, however, the new attention focused on these solutions is only crystallizing a video revolution already well underway in the workplace. Even before the COVID crisis, 49% of workers participating in a fourth quarter 2019 Wainhouse survey of 2,004 individuals reported that their viewership of business video had increased over prior-year levels.
