California Resident Statutory Notice

This California Privacy Notice supplements the general KyrosPub Privacy Policy and applies strictly to natural persons residing in California ("Consumers"). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA), California residents are granted specific enforceable rights regarding their Personal Information.

01. Scope & California Statutory Addendum

This Privacy Notice for California Residents ("Notice") is adopted by KyrosB2B.com Inc. ("KyrosPub," "we," "us," or "our") pursuant to California Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq. and the regulations issued by the California Privacy Protection Agency ("CPPA").

This Notice governs all personal information collected from California consumers, including B2B professionals, enterprise researchers, corporate representatives, and website visitors accessing our syndicated whitepaper platform.

02. Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding twelve (12) months, KyrosPub has collected the following statutory categories of Personal Information (as defined in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(v)(1)):

Category A: Identifiers

Real name, alias, business postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol (IP) address, corporate email address, and account credentials.

Category B: Customer Records

Business telephone number, employer, professional title, corporate affiliation, and state customer records data (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)).

Category D: Commercial Information

Records of whitepapers, benchmark reports, case studies, and research publications downloaded, previewed, or saved to user libraries.

Category I: Professional Data

Job title, seniority level, department function, company size tier, purchasing authority, vertical industry, and professional background.

Note: KyrosPub does not collect Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) such as government ID numbers, financial account details, precise geolocation, biometric data, or health records.

03. Business & Commercial Purposes

We collect and process the above categories of Personal Information strictly for the following operational business purposes under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(e):

  • B2B Content Syndication: Delivering requested technical whitepapers and research to corporate executives.
  • Demand Generation: Connecting enterprise readers with third-party vendors and content sponsors when downloading gated publications.
  • Security Audit & Fraud Mitigation: Detecting malicious bot scraping, verifying corporate email domains, and enforcing rate controls.
  • Platform Optimization: Analyzing research download trends, refining publication search algorithms, and personalizing content recommendations.

04. Statutory "Sale" & "Sharing" Disclosures

Under the statutory definitions of the CCPA and CPRA, the disclosure of professional lead information to a third-party content Sponsor in exchange for providing free access to gated whitepapers may be defined as a "Sale" (transfer for valuable consideration) or "Sharing" (cross-context behavioral targeting).

12-Month Historical Disclosure of Data Disclosures

In the preceding twelve (12) months, KyrosPub has "sold" or "shared" Categories A, B, and I (Identifiers, Customer Records, and Professional Data) to enterprise Content Sponsors authoring the specific whitepapers downloaded by users, strictly for legitimate B2B marketing follow-up.

We do not sell or share Personal Information of consumers known to be under 16 years of age.

05. De-Identified & Aggregate Data Policy

Pursuant to Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(m), KyrosPub maintains and uses de-identified and aggregate consumer information in a form that cannot reasonably be linked to any individual consumer. We publicly commit to maintaining and using such information solely in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify the data.

06. Comprehensive California Consumer Rights

California residents are granted statutory rights under the CCPA/CPRA regarding their Personal Information:

Right to Know & Access Request disclosure of specific pieces and categories of Personal Information collected over the past 12 months.
Right to Delete Request deletion of Personal Information collected from you, subject to statutory business retention exceptions.
Right to Correct Inaccuracies Request correction of inaccurate or outdated professional identity data held in our database.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Share Direct us to cease selling or sharing your personal information to third-party content sponsors.
Right to Non-Discrimination We will never discriminate against you, alter prices, or deny service quality for exercising CCPA rights.
Right to Limit Sensitive Data Right to direct businesses to limit the use of Sensitive PII (KyrosPub does not collect Sensitive PII).

07. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Info" Notice

California residents have the right to direct us not to sell or share their personal information at any time.

How to Submit a California Opt-Out Request

To exercise your right to opt-out, send an email to privacy@kyrosb2b.com with the subject line "CCPA Do Not Sell or Share Request". Once processed, your profile will be flagged to prevent lead data transfer to content sponsors.

08. Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signal Recognition

In compliance with California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) regulations, KyrosPub automatically recognizes and respects opt-out preference signals sent by browsers adhering to the Global Privacy Control (GPC) standard. When a GPC signal is detected, our platform automatically sets your session preferences to opt-out of data sharing.

09. Verifiable Request & Authorized Agent Protocol

To submit a Verifiable Consumer Request for access, deletion, or correction:

  1. Submit an email to privacy@kyrosb2b.com containing sufficient details to allow us to verify your identity.
  2. We will verify your request by matching the corporate email address and identity details against our database.
  3. Authorized Agents: If designating an authorized agent under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.145(g), the agent must submit proof of written permission signed by the consumer or a valid power of attorney.

10. California "Shine the Light" Law Disclosures

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"), California residents are entitled to request an annual disclosure detailing categories of personal information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
